Public health dean emerita named international scholar by Open Society Foundation

Linda Rosenstock, dean emerita of the Fielding School of Public Health, was recently named an Open Society Foundation International Scholar. This fellowship has partnered her with students from An-Najah National University in Nablus, West Bank, to promote cross-cultural exchange.

Rosenstock met with students to discuss bioethics in medicine and research in the university library’s “American Corner” — a space dedicated to cultural understanding through conversation.

The Open Society Foundation's International Scholars Fellowship Program selects highly qualified scholars to assist selected partner departments with higher education reform efforts and to help them build local, regional and global academic networks.
