Women are not Receiving Needed Mental Health Care Through State’s Public Programs

Dr. Ninez Ponce, HPM Faculty, published a report through the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research that found unmet mental health care needs for women of color in regards to public health services.  The report found that among women in California who have recently experienced mild to moderate psychological distress and are eligible for public health services, four out of five said they received no treatment.
