HPM Student, Nathaniel Anderson, Featured on Local News for His Work on a UCLA Study

Nathaniel Anderson, current Ph.D. student in the Department of Health Policy and Management, was recently featured on Fox 32 News to discuss the findings of a paper that he worked on in collaboration with Dr. Fred Zimmerman, professor in the Department of Health Policy and Management.

The paper is featured in JAMA Pediatrics and is titled "Association of the Timing of School Closings and Behavioral Changes with the Evolution of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 Pandemic in the US".  The study tracked COVID data in the early months of the pandemic and analyzed associations of lower COVID cases with school closures and behavioral changes.  If you would like to see more of this study, please see the following links below.
