How would you like to spend the summer working with a bright, committed, energetic graduate student from the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health?
The UCLA Department of Health Policy and Management invites you to participate in our Summer Internship Program. Here's how your organization will benefit from a UCLA MPH Summer Student:
The Summer Internship
The summer internship represents the cornerstone of our two-year Master's of Public Health (MPH) degree in health policy and management. During the summer, students work with an organization full-time for ten weeks on a project or problem, allowing the student to apply the skills gained during their academic training. During the subsequent fall quarter, students complete consulting reports that document their experience and highlight the key findings of the project for the organization. The report is prepared with guidance from the preceptor and UCLA faculty and presented to the organization. Since this is a learning experience, the preceptor plays a vital role in ensuring the success of the internship for the organization, the student, and the Department. We are inviting you to serve as preceptor this summer!
