Department of Health Policy and Management Other Academic Programs

The Los Angeles Area Health Services Research Training Program (LAAHSRTP) postdoctoral fellowship is a joint initiative of the Department of Health Policy and Management at the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, RAND Health, The USC Schaeffer Center for Health Policy and Economics, and the V.A. Los Angeles Center for the Study of Healthcare Innovation, Implementation and Policy.
The Visiting Scholars Program in the Department of Health Policy and Management in the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health is a unique one-year program where individuals who are interested in learning more about Health Services issues, without participating in a formal degree program, may sit in on classes, work with faculty and students, and have access to department and university resources such as desk space, a computer, campus libraries, the internet, as well as receive a certificate at the completion of their visit.  Each Visiting Scholar has a faculty
The UCLA Pharmaceutical Economics and Policy program promotes teaching and research on issues related to pharmaceuticals and the pharmaceutical industry. It trains professionals seeking careers in the area, and supports the work of industry and government.
